The policy of this web site is to limit the collection of privacy related data to what is needed to run the web site. We do not use contact forms to ask for personal data. Any personal data you send to us via the email or physical address provided on this web site will only be used for the purposes for which you have contacted us.

Types of Data Collected
The site collects and logs browsing data as a function of the Apache Web Server. This includes the IP addresses of the user browsing the web site.
Purpose of the data collected
Browsing data is collected and logged is used for the following purposes:
- monitoring and ensuring the functioning of the site
- detecting and fixing errors
- obtaining an overview of countries and regions of our users
We rotate our logs and permanently delete them without any backups after a maximum of five weeks.
Cookies
Our policy is not use cookies. However, we at the moment cannot ensure that all our plugins are cookie free. We advise you to disable cookies while visiting this site.
Personal Data
Except for the browsing data mentioned above, the Owner does not collect any personal data via the web site. Any data referred to below is data sent to us via email using the email addresses mentioned on this web site.
Methods of processing
The Owner takes appropriate security measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or unauthorized destruction of the Data.
The Data processing is carried out using computers and/or IT enabled tools, following organizational procedures and modes strictly related to the purposes indicated here. In addition to the Owner, in some cases, the Data may be accessible to certain types of persons in charge, involved with the operation of ECSO (administration, legal, system administration). All are bound by confidentiality agreements. No external parties are involved.
The Data is processed at the Owner’s operating offices and in any other places where the parties involved in the processing are located.
Retention time
Personal Data shall be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose they have been sent to the Owner for.
If the User has not given explicit consent to use the data sent to the Owner, he or she shall be asked to provide such consent. If such consent is not received within 3 weeks, data sent by any means to the Owner shall be deleted permanently.
The Owner may be allowed to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever the User has given consent to such processing, as long as such consent is not withdrawn. Furthermore, the Owner may be obliged to retain Personal Data for a longer period whenever required to do so for the performance of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority.
Once the retention period expires, Personal Data shall be deleted. Therefore, the right to access, the right to erasure, the right to rectification and the right to data portability cannot be enforced after expiration of the retention period.
Data Analytics
The owner does not use any tools, such as Google Analytics, to monitor and analyze web traffic or to keep track of User behavior.
Social Networks
Our web site does not provide any links to Twitter, Facebook or other Social Media.
The Rights of Users
Users have the right to inquire about the storage and use of any of their personal data by writing to ECSO via email or regular post. They have the right to correct or delete their personal data unless the Owner is obliged to retain Personal Data because of a legal obligation or upon order of an authority. The User further has the right to obtain their data in accordance with requirements of data portability. Further, the User may lodge a complaint to the data protection officer of the German state of Hesse regarding any unlawful storage or processing of data.
